YouTube API Services
WhatIfPip Uploader uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What data we access
With the channel owner's authorization (OAuth), the tool accesses only the owner's own YouTube channel: it uploads videos, captions and thumbnails and reads or updates the metadata of the owner's videos (scopes youtube.upload and youtube.force-ssl).
How data is used, stored and shared
- Data is used only to publish and manage the owner's videos.
- The OAuth refresh token is stored only on the owner's computer in a private file (permission 600). No database, no server and no analytics.
- No data is sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.
- No information about other YouTube users is collected.
Cookies
This website and the tool do not set cookies or use tracking.
Revoking access and deleting data
Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page. Deleting the local token file removes all stored data.
